This professional spoon carving knife is made by Narex Bystrice a highly respected cutting tool manufacturer from the Czech Republic. It is made from the same high-quality Manganese steel as their other edge tools. This spoon-carving or hook knife is perfect when you need to scoop out a convex surface from spoons or bowls. It allows for a more controlled and aggressive cut than a straight knife. It is sharpened on one side and considered a right-hand version that is designed to be pulled towards the carver when using the right hand or pushed away when using the left hand.

• The blade is made from manganese alloy steel and heat treated for a hardness of 61 HRc, and will take and hold an excellent edge
